Jesus, Come into My Heart

MP3: Jesus, Come into My Heart (English)

Jesus went everywhere doing good and showing people how much God loves them. God knew that everyone in the world had done wrong things for which they would have to be punished. But God promised to forgive us if we would love and thank Jesus for His help. Jesus did a most wonderful thing for us: He gave His life for us. Three days later, He came back to life again to live forever. This is the wonderful good news that God tells us about in His book, the Bible, that if we ask Jesus to come and live in our hearts, we will belong to God’s big happy family and will someday get to go to God’s beautiful home called heaven.

*

I've just heard the story of You and Your love;
You came from the glory of heaven above.
You once were a child like me,
So You know how I feel and You know what I need.

Chorus 1
Jesus, come into my heart;
You promised You'll never depart.
Give me love, give me light, help me do what is right.
Oh, Jesus come into my heart.

You gave us Your whole life, and You healed with Your touch.
I believe in You too, Lord; I need You so much.
Forgive me for all I've done wrong.
I open my heart to You in this song!

Chorus 2
Jesus, come into my heart;
You promised You'll never depart.
Give me love, give me light, help me do what is right.
Oh, Jesus come into my heart.

Chorus 3
Jesus, come into my heart;
You promised You'll never depart.
I know there will be heaven waiting for me;
Oh, Jesus, come into my heart.
Give me love, give me light, help me do what is right.
Oh, Jesus, come into my heart.

Building on the Rock

MP3: Building on the Rock (English)
1 of 3

Based on Matthew 7:24–27.

There was a wise man, building on a rock,
His house stood strong and tall.
And when the rain came, with thunder and lightning, bang!
The flood didn’t make his house fall.

The wind was huffin’ and puffin’, the rain was drippin’ and droppin’ and pourin’.
The waves were rough and tumblin’, the sky was black and rumblin’,
But the house on the rock stood firm.

There was a foolish man, building on the sand,
His house looked nice and neat.
But when the rain came, with thunder and lightning, bang!
The flood knocked it down in a heap.

The wind was huffin’ and puffin’, the rain was drippin’ and droppin’ and pourin’.
The waves were rough and tumblin’, the sky was black and rumblin’,
And the house on the sand went “bam!”

Be like the wise man, do the best you can,
On the rock stand strong and tall.
So when the rain comes, with thunder and lightning, bang!
The floods won’t make your house fall.

Start building, building, building, building, building on the Rock.
Start building, building, building, and you’ll never want to stop.
Start building now for Jesus with all of His believers.
He’s the Rock that’s never fallin’.

The Miracles of Elisha

MP3: The Miracles of Elisha (English)

When Elijah was getting old, he needed someone to take his place to give God’s message to the people. One day he saw Elisha in the field, plowing. God told Elijah to throw his big sheepskin cloak over Elisha’s shoulders. So he did. This meant God wanted Elisha to follow Elijah and to become a messenger too.

Elisha was very excited and happy to be chosen. He wanted to learn all he could from the old prophet before Elijah went to heaven. And one day when they were walking together, some heavenly horses of fire pulling a chariot suddenly appeared in the sky. Elisha and Elijah jumped apart as the fiery horses rushed between them. As Elisha watched, the fiery horses and chariot picked Elijah up and carried him up to heaven in a whirlwind. As he went up, Elijah’s cloak fell down in front of Elisha, and Elisha became God’s new messenger. God did many wonderful things through Elisha.

Here’s a song about some of the miracles He did.

*

Verse 1:
Elisha threw some salt into the spring
And he prayed for the water to be clean.
Elisha threw some salt into the spring
And he prayed for the water to be clean.
And the river began to flow,
The trees and flowers grow.
Elisha threw some salt into the spring
And he prayed for the water to be clean.

Verse 2:
Elisha said to Naaman, "You'll be fine
If you wash in the river seven times."
Elisha said to Naaman, "You'll be fine
If you wash in the river seven times."
Naaman took a swim that day
And his sores went all away.
Elisha said to Naaman, "You'll be fine
If you wash in the river seven times."

Verse 3:
Elisha threw a stick into the stream
And the axe that was sinking could be seen.
Elisha threw a stick into the stream
And the axe that was sinking could be seen.
"It was borrowed!" said the boy,
Who took it back with joy.
Elisha threw a stick into the stream
And the axe that was sinking could be seen.

Pour Out a Blessing

MP3: Pour Out a Blessing (English)

Chorus 1:
Pour out a blessing, pour out a blessing.
Give of your life in all you do.
Pour out a blessing, pour out a blessing.
Heaven will smile and pour the blessings on you.

Verse 1:
In a time of famine, lived a widow and her son.
They were hungry, and she said, "Little one,
I will now bake our last cake,
But after that, we have no food left!"
To get some firewood, the woman went on a walk,
And met Elijah, the prophet of God.
He said, "Help me, and if you feed me,
You will know that these words are true."

[Repeat Chorus 1]

Verse 2:
The woman helped him and she gave unselfishly,
And through the famine they had plenty to eat.
How could that be? Well, now she could see
That all the words that he spoke were true.

Chorus 2:
Pour out a blessing, pour out a blessing.
Give of your life in all you do.
Pour out a blessing, pour out a blessing.
Heaven will smile [heaven will smile].

[Repeat Chorus 1]

And pour the blessings on you.
[Heaven will smile]
And pour the blessings on you.
[Heaven will smile]
And pour the blessings on you.

Little Samuel

MP3: Little Samuel (English)

When Samuel was a little boy, he lived with a kind old priest named Eli, who looked after him and taught him about God. During the day, many people would come to the temple to pray and to bring their gifts for God to Eli, the priest, but at night everything was very still and quiet. One night, Samuel woke up when he heard a voice calling his name. He thought Eli was calling him, but Eli was asleep. Do you know who was calling him?

*

*“Samuel. Samuel.”

“Listen, little Samuel, I’m a calling, can you tell? Can you tell?
“In your sleep I speak to you. Samuel, I’m a calling you.”

In the quiet of the night, Samuel went to Eli.
“Here am I, what do you want?”
Eli said, “I called you not.”

Samuel went back to bed, but soon again the same voice said,
“Listen, little Samuel, I’m a calling you, can you tell?”

In the middle of the night, Samuel went to Eli.
“Here am I, what do you want?”
Eli said, “I called you not.”

Samuel went back to bed, but woke again when the same voice said,
“Listen, little Samuel, I’m a calling you, can you tell?”

For a third time in the night, Samuel went to Eli.
“Here am I, what do you want?”
Eli said, “I called you not.”

“Back to bed now, quietly, and if the Lord is calling thee,
“Say to Him, ‘Lord, speak to me, for Thy servant heareth Thee.’”

Little Samuel went to bed, and laid down on his pillow.
In the nighttime, still and sweet,
Samuel went back to sleep. [Ssssh!]

“Listen, little Samuel, I’m a calling, can you tell? Can you tell?
“In your sleep I speak to you. Samuel, I’m a calling you.”

“Yes, dear Lord, I’m listening well. You’re a calling, I can tell. Now I can tell.
“Here am I, please speak to me,
“For Thy servant heareth Thee.”

Listen, children, listen well, when He’s calling, you can tell. You can tell.
Say, “Dear Lord, please speak to me,
“For Thy servant heareth Thee.”
