Jesus and Me: Bedtime Promises
Monday, May 2, 2022

As you lie down to sleep,
Just say a little prayer.
I’m waiting to hear it.
I’m always right there.

Now close your eyes, My child,
Soon you’ll drift off to sleep.
I am here to hold you,
That’s a promise I’ll keep.

You can travel in your dreams
To some faraway stars,
Then ride high on the wind—
It’s way better than cars!

Snuggle down deep, My dear,
Here in My caring arms.
I’ll lovingly watch you
And keep you safe from harm.

The Lord provides for those he loves, even while they are sleeping. (Psalm 127:2 ERV)
