Just as I am

Even when my hair isn’t brushed, my clothes are a mess, I have scrapes on my knees, and I’m kind of scuffed up, You love me no matter what. You make me feel special just as I am.

Beautiful creation

I love exploring nature and the wonderful creatures and plants You’ve made. Your creation is beautiful! Help me to do my best to take care of this wonderful world!

Right beside me

I’m glad You’re beside me through each day, Jesus. It makes me feel safe to know You’re never too far away. Help me to stay close to You in the things I do and say!

My pets

Thank You for my pets! They are fun to play with and bring me lots of joy. Help me to take good care of them so they are happy and healthy.

I belong to You

Jesus, I praise You and come before You with happy songs. I know that You are God, and You are good. You made me, and I belong to You. There is no end to Your love. I can trust You forever and ever!¹

You bring me calm

When I am frustrated and upset and need a little time to calm down, You are there for me. You help me understand what I am feeling. I feel better after taking time with You, Jesus!

Watching the rain

Sometimes I’m disappointed that I must stay inside when it rains, but I’m glad the plants and trees are getting the water that they need. The rain washes away the dirt, brings nourishment to the plants, and makes the ducks happy. You take good care of Your creation, Jesus, just like You take good care of me.

I feel Your love and care

Whenever I take time to thank You,
I know just what to do.
I hug You close and tell You that
You’re my best friend—it’s true!

You’re always happy to spend time with me,
No matter what the time.
You help me through the ups and downs
And whatever hills I climb.

You watch over me and keep me safe.
I know You’re always there.
You make me smile and bring me joy.
I feel Your love and care.

Thank You for my dog

My dog is gentle and caring. He nuzzles me and cheers me when I’m sad. He makes me feel loved. Thank You for giving me love in so many ways. Help me to take good care of my dog and show him lots of love too!

Just You and me

I enjoy these times when it’s just You and me, Jesus. I like talking to You and listening to all You have to tell me. You’re never too busy for me. These times when it’s just You and me make me feel extra loved.

In Your hands

Jesus, You have the whole world in Your hands, from the smallest bug to the biggest mountains. You hold each person big or small, young or old, so that we can know Your wonderful love. I, too, am in Your loving hands, and this is where I am happiest!

You make me happy

Spending time with You, Jesus, makes me happy. You always listen to me. You share joy and laughter with me, and You know just how to make me feel better when I am down. You make me happy!

You are there

I like to sit quietly and think about You, Jesus. There are many things I can thank You for; I could never tell You it all. But sometimes it’s enough to just close my eyes and think of You and know that You are there.
