Encourage the children to find ways to give Jesus the gifts listed in “Gifts for Jesus” by reviewing one gift a day over the next two weeks, completing this review by Christmas Day. At the start of each day, talk with your children about the gift you will try to give to Jesus that day, and then together look for ways to put that gift into action. To celebrate the giving of each gift, make a Christmas chain link (page 2), adding a link for each gift as it’s given to Jesus—writing the gift on the link.
