Christmas is a time to remember God’s greatest gift—when He sent His Son to earth so that we could learn more about His great love for us. This gift is special because you can’t buy it in a store, and no one can make it for you. God’s gift of love will never get old or break down. It will never wear out, and you will never grow out of it. It will last forever.
God’s gift of love is there for anyone who wants to receive it. And when that gift becomes a part of your life and heart, it not only makes you happier and more filled with love, but you can give it to others too. God’s love never runs out. God’s love gives you the power of love to do good, and when you do good for others, it inspires them to do likewise!
Think on God’s love for you this Christmas: It will make you happy when you’re sad, and it will cheer you up when you are lonely. When you feel small and a little lost or afraid in this great big world, or if you feel nobody understands you, or nobody will listen to what you have to say, remember that God’s love has the power to make things better.
This Christmas take some time to remember the great gift we received long ago, when God’s Son came to earth to show us God’s love. Make this Christmas a love-filled one by opening your heart for more of God’s love to flow through you!
