My family is traveling to visit my grandparents this Christmas. I’m very excited! Whenever I travel in an airplane, I think about Jesus. I don’t think I’m closer to heaven, but it just reminds me that Jesus is everywhere.

When I’m high in the air, I can see so much, and I like to think that’s how Jesus can see—so far and wide. He always knows what’s happening.

When I look out the window and see how tiny everything is, I feel small too, but I remember that once Jesus was little like me. He came to this world so that we could get to know His Father’s love. I know that Jesus loves and cares for me no matter how little I am. I feel safe knowing that Jesus is always with me.

I am glad that Christmas is a time to celebrate with family and friends. It’s a time to remember the wonderful gift that came to Earth on that night long, long ago—the birth of our Savior. I know that no matter where I go—in the air or on the ground—Jesus will be with me. His love will be there for me not just at Christmastime, but all throughout the year. Every day can be a celebration of Jesus’ love for me!
