Level 1 Lesson Plan: Paul, the Faithful Witness

Here is a lesson plan that can be covered in five 15- to 20-minute sessions, relating to the lesson objectives: “Be able to list Jesus’ twelve disciples who followed Him while He was on earth, and the role that they played in helping Jesus in His mission,” and “learn of some of the lives of the great men and women of the Bible.” (Christian Life and Faith: Biblical and Christian Foundation: Discipleship-1b; and Christian Life and Faith: Witnessing and Missionary Training: Great Men and Women of God-1a

SESSIONS 1 – 4
Read and study the following classes, going over one a day. (Tip: To gain the most from these classes, read the story in a children’s or regular Bible. Scriptural references are found within each article.)

SESSION 5
Listen to the audio “I Know Whom I Have Believed.” Look up 2 Timothy 1:12 in the Bible to show the children which of Paul’s letters this is from.

Study the verses in “Crazily Cool Card Set: Want Some Power?” Ask the children if they can find the one verse that was written by Paul. (Answer: 2 Corinthians 4:7.)

Discuss the verses in “Crazily Cool Cards Set: An Active Force Field.”

Memorize a verse from one of the above two “Crazily Cool Card Sets.” (You can also print these out to use as coloring pages.)
