Note to parent or teacher: Here is a 15-minute 0–5 lesson plan on training the mind to remember.
Watch “Mama, I Remembered.”
Talk about how it can be easy to forget the things that the children are expected to do (chores, personal hygiene pointers, etc.). But, eventually, if they don’t give up, these things will become a habit and easier to remember to do.
Ask your children what things are easy for them to forget about. Brainstorm ways that will help them remember. (For example, if your children have chores, write down all the steps of the chore, with accompanying illustrations if they are too young to read.)
Read “The Dependable Honeybee.”
Have your children pick one verse from “Crazily Cool Card Set: Faithfulness” to color and memorize.
