Note to parent or teacher: Here’s a 30-minute lesson plan on helping others. You can divide this lesson plan into two parts for a shorter time of devotions.

ReadBright Pebbles: Love Is the Best.”

Memorize the first part of 1 Corinthians 13:8 (“Love never fails.”). Help your child write this verse out on a small piece of cardstock, or on a whiteboard, and place it somewhere your child can see it throughout the day.

ReadBright Pebbles: A Reflection of Jesus.” Do the action on the last page.

Watch the song “Little Missionary.”

Talk about how happy those who were shown kindness and love probably felt. Brainstorm, with your children, ways they can help people and show God’s love to others.
