Here is a 15-minute lesson plan on how to grow happiness.

Watch and sing “Happiness Is Growing,” and/or “The Time to Be Happy” 

Discuss and ask your children the following: How did the children spread happiness in the music videos? Have the children brainstorm some simple things they can do today that will help spread happiness to others, which will in turn increase their own happiness.

Read “Sunshine All Around.”

Read or memorize “My Happy Sunbeam.” If children so desire, print the coloring book for them to color.
