I’ve made many pleasant things in life for your enjoyment, and I love to give them to you.

But what happens when you lose your special toy, or your favorite dress gets stained, or you can’t play your favorite sport for a while? What do you do then?

If your happiness is based around things, then it is easy to lose your joy.

However, when things go wrong, you can look to Me to make things better. I can give you My peace, joy, and encouragement.

I’ve given you something special, an enduring joy that goes beyond the circumstances of life. That enduring joy comes from being close to Me.

Now stop and think about the people who don’t know Me.

Many people around the world don’t know that the secret to living a happy life is to have a close and loving friendship with Me. They need someone to explain this to them.

Whether people are rich or poor, if they don’t know Me, then they won’t be fully content and happy.

They will be unable to have lasting joy, because when something goes wrong, they don’t know how to turn to Me and My Word for help.

I want to be in their life so that I can help them and take care of them, whatever their circumstances.

Once people have received Me into their life, I can take even better care of them. They will be more aware of looking to Me for My guidance.

Through their prayers I can lead them to make better choices—faith-filled choices that will lead them along a path to a better life.

I can give them faith that because I love them, even if something goes wrong, I can still make things better for them.

That’s why I’ve called My followers to tell those they meet about Me. I need My followers to show others how much I love them and how I want to take good care of them!

It makes Me so very happy when you do this!
