Many years later in another land there lived a man named Abraham. Abraham loved God very much, and God loved Abraham very much. One day God said to him, “Abraham, I have a surprise for you. I want to show you the land that I’m going to give to your children. I’m going to make you a very great person.”
So Abraham and his wife, Sarah, packed up all their things and said, “Good-bye!” to their friends, and began traveling to the place that God had told them about.
