While speaking with His disciples after His resurrection, Jesus told them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to everyone.”¹ Jesus was asking His disciples to live their lives as an example of God’s great love and to tell people everywhere about Him.

As Jesus’ followers today, we can also tell others the good news of God’s love for them! Whether you are at home or abroad, whether in school or at the playground—wherever you are, Jesus wants you to be a testimony of His love.

You don’t need to be rich or have special abilities. You don’t need to fly or take a cruise to another country. To do as Jesus asks you to do, you need to live a life that manifests loving concern for others, like Jesus did. Let your friends and acquaintances know through your actions, deeds, and words about our caring God who loves them.

As the Apostle Paul explained, “Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.”²

When you do this, you are fulfilling Jesus’ request to “preach the gospel to everyone”!
