Based on Matthew 6:9–13.
One of Jesus’ disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray.”1
Jesus taught them, saying, “When you pray, pray like this:
‘Our Father, who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. And lead us away from temptation and deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.’”
This prayer is also found in Luke 11:2–4.
