I am the good shepherd. I know My sheep, and My sheep know me. You are one of My little lambs, and I take good care of you. I watch over you to make sure you are safe and cared for. I speak to you, and you know My voice.1
You can always call Me, and I’ll come to you. I’m never too busy. When I hear you call, I answer because you are important to Me!
No matter how small you are, you can still do things that matter to Me and to others. If you look at My creation, you can see many small things that do useful tasks. The tiny bee doesn’t worry that he’s too small to gather pollen to make honey, he simply does his job. Little ants are busy all the time—building their colony and collecting food, and together they can do amazing things. Little raindrops fall from the sky, filling the rivers and bringing refreshing water to the earth.
Just being you is important! You have so much to offer others through acts of kindness, thoughtful words, loving actions, and by reflecting My love. Kind words and deeds have a wonderful way of brightening up someone’s day, and you can be the one to bring that joy to another.
“Be a light for other people. Live so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16 ERV).
