Christmas Paper Stocking
Thursday, December 6, 2012

To create your paper stocking, print out pages 3 and 4 on cardstock. Print the other pages on regular paper. Color the stocking pieces, cut the pieces out and staple or tape them together around the edges, with the illustrations facing outward. Select the decorations you would like to use on your stocking and color and cut them out. Glue the decorations on your stocking. Don’t forget to put a name on the stocking.

When you’ve finished decorating your stocking punch a hole in the loop at the top of the stocking, then thread a piece of ribbon or string through and tie it. Hang your stocking. Make a stocking for each member of your family.

Keep small papers and a pen nearby, and when you have an idea for a kind deed or kind thought that you would like to give to the person whose name is on the stocking, write it on a piece of paper and slip it in the stocking. On Christmas Day give each person his or her stocking and discover what treasures are inside.

Merry Christmas!
